Aquarium Drunkard Picture Show (Holiday Edition)
Here’s a wonderful early Christmas gift from our friends over at AD–the Holiday Edition of the Aquarium Drunkard Picture Show. If you haven’t seen it already, the Aquarium Drunkard Picture Show is an “Ether access basement broadcast transmitting from the hills of Glassell Park.” Each episode features archival live performance footage, original compositions, and animations from Mark Neeley.
The holiday edition below includes festive performances from Wizzard, T. Rex, Ahmad Jamal Trio, Tom Waits, The Pogues & more. We especially love the bits from Emmet Otter’s Jug-Band Christmas, a charming Jim-Henson production with musical otter Muppets that we highly recommend checking out!
