A celebration of Detroit Techno featuring classic albums and a special DJ set by Santiago Salazar.
In Sheep’s Clothing x Agora Records present a listening / dance party dedicated to the foundational techno of Detroit from The Belleville Three (Juan Atkins, Derrick May, Kevin Saunderson), Underground Resistance, and second-wave artists like K-HAND, Jeff Mills, Robert Hood, Carl Craig and Drexciya.
The event will feature a selection of classic albums and EP’s including Underground Resistance’s Galaxy 2 Galaxy, Lifestyles Of The Laptop Café by The Other People Place (James Stinson), K-Hand’s “On A Journey,” and Jeff Mills “Waveform Transmission, Volume 3.”
The listening session will be followed by a DJ set by Detroit legend Santiago Salazar, who will be playing a special Detroit-only set on vinyl. Sound by Mobius Acoustics.
