Franco Falsini – Cold Nose

An Italian progressive rock masterpiece, Cold Nose is the debut solo outing from Franco Falsini, an Italian guitarist and producer most known as the leader of influential space rock group Sensations’ Fix. The album was originally conceived as a soundtrack to a film, though not many people have seen it. Much like his previous projects, Falsini’s mastery of the guitar shines through here with his Kosmische-inspired delay-layering-soloing building gorgeous cosmic atmospheres alongside Electronic Music Studios (EMS) and Moog synthesizers. Apparently Falsini applied many experimental methods to his recording process, including a mechanism borrowed from the Bio-Electronic Meditation Society, which would monitor his brain activity in the studio… Highly recommended for fans of Manuel Göttsching, Klaus Schulze, Tangerine Dream, etc.
