Tribal electro ambient jazz composed as the soundtrack for a Japanese TV documentary “Tadayuki Naito Zebra” about the life of a zebra… What’s more to say? Jack DeJohnette got it absolutely right with this one and Lester Bowie on solo trumpet shines throughout. This is peak late 80’s fusion in which a master of his instrument meets electronics with a pure openness and willingness to create something new.
