We don’t often feature 12″ records here but this one is too good not to… Public Image Limited’s bass maestro Jah Wobble puts together a one-off trio featuring frequent collaborator Ollie Marland and actress/singer Polly Eltes. Released on Wobble’s own Lagos imprint, the A side features the catchy balearic electronic boogie jam “Voodoo” while the flip dives into a more mellow sort of sunset drum box groove with a quirky bounce and exotic analog synth lead. If you’re into this, be sure to also check out the one other Polly Eltes record with Can’s Michael Karoli.
