In 2013, a video surfaced of Ariwa Sounds’ Mad Professor performing a live dub remix of Marvin Gaye’s classic “What’s Going On?” on FM 94/9 Radio. Over the years, the video has developed something akin to a cult following with some wondering, “Why hasn’t he done a Motown Dub Album?” Well, more than a decade later, the calls have finally been answered and Avianca Dubs Vol.1 have arrived with two immensely beautiful dub versions.
