Piero Milesi – The Nuclear Observatory Of Mr. Nanof
Ethereal electronic minimalism from the great Italian architect / music installation & soundtrack master Piero Milesi. The Nuclear Observatory Of Mr. Nanof is a collection of soundtrack compositions featuring lyricon, the first electronic wind instrument, along with synthesizers, piano, vocoder, and a small chamber ensemble. The 17 tracks are all wonderfully visual and play through like a meditative journey through “suspended motion” and “abyssal depths.” The images Milesi conjures through sound are at times medieval and at others futuristic and science fiction. “Highly recommended to astronautic mineral engineers of the mental system.”
