A special night of post punk, no wave, and dub with Day End Records and The CUSP.
Day End Records is a boutique imprint focused on curating new music and limited run reissues, including an ISC favorite of 2020 – Eddie Chacon’s “Pleasure, Joy, and Happiness.”
“The CUSP, a change, a prophecy, a realization that what once was will soon be no more. For Los Angeles’ Lucas Fitzsimons, The CUSP is not just apropos new solo project but a new creative beginning.
Fitzsimons found new inspiration in the off kilter poetry-like lyrics of Happy Mondays’ Shaun Ryder, The DIY philosophy of Nipsey Hussle and Tommy Wright III, the bass heavy dub productions of King Tubby and Adrian Sherwood, and the psyched out rhymes of P-Funk.”
