Dub techno pioneer Mark Ernestus (Basic Channel, Rhythm & Sound) joins us in an OPEN AIR venue in Downtown Los Angeles.
Los Angeles! Prepare for a proper HARDWAX invasion, June 8th, with Basic Channel/Rhythm & Sound’s own MARK ERNESTUS at the controls supported by Hardwax mainstay/Open Ground musical director, ARTHUR! Expect a master course in contemporary soundsystem music interspersed w high-voltage dubwise sounds from around the world! On top of it all, Carribaean via Brooklyn selector, foreigner brings his deep knowledge of Afrodiasporic styles to round out the day. This is Mark’s first time in LA in ages and Arthur’s first on a proper system – This on going to be a standout show, day into night in the heart of DTLA.
