In Sheep’s Clothing and Darling present the first edition of Record Bizzy, a new industry-forward listening party in the hi-fi lounge at Darling in West Hollywood. Each edition will feature a label from our extended community presenting a range of selections from their catalog in a dedicated listening format. Expect to hear everything from classics and favorites to new and upcoming releases.
For this first edition, we are honored to joined by our friends at Numero Group, who specialize in “the alternative history of popular music.” The Chicago-born label has been one of the most consistently integral archival labels of the past two decades. 24-Carat Black, Antena, Laraaji, Gary Davenport, Rupa, Pastor T.L. Barrett, Wee, Ned Doheny, Cheryl Glasgow; the list of essential archival projects goes on and on. For this special night, the label will be sharing some of the sounds they’re currently obsessed with.
