Music from Memory releases ‘Music for Freedom’ to aid families in Ukraine

The Amsterdam-based label has released a 17-track compilation with all proceeds donated to Red Cross Ukraine.
One of our favorite labels doing more great things… Music from Memory has released a new compilation titled Music for Freedom. The 17-track collection features friends from around the globe including Loveshadow, Suzanne Kraft & Jonny Nash, Suso Saiz, RAMZi, Benedek, Alex Ho and others. All proceeds will be donated to Red Cross Ukraine who distribute food, blankets, medical supplies, and other essentials to families in need.
From the label: “We’re sure you’ve been equally horrified by the Russian military invasion of Ukraine which continues to destroy the country and has deliberately targeted and killed civilians including children. Not only friends but also family of Music From Memory remain directly impacted in Ukraine and are increasingly cut off from access to water, food, electricity and even means of communication.
Therefore we wanted to do what we can to raise and deliver funds to Ukraine to support those in need. We’ve put together a compilation of music from friends and made the tracks available as a bundle download on our Bandcamp. There are 17 tracks in total and all proceeds will be donated to the Red Cross in Ukraine.”
