“Os Gatos (The Cats) were one of the most celebrated bossa nova bands of the ‘60s, despite the fact that they only recorded two albums. A true all-star formation, the group included leader and guitarist Durval Ferreira, pianist Eumir Deodato, bassist Sérgio Barrozo, and drummer Wilson das Neves. Deodato’s excellent arrangements helped make Os Gatos’ self-titled debut an important album in the history of Brazilian pop.”

Condition: Some parts lean towards a VG/VG- A1 suffers from severe distortion in the grooves that lasts around 10 seconds before cleaning up back to the VG- end. Constant pops and background crackles but on the listenable side rather than not listenable. Really cleans up towards the end half of each side! B side strong VG- Sleeve is in great shape but appears to have been square cut onto another sleeve almost like a private press style. Not sure if this is how original came or not. VPI cleaned!**
