Hu Vibrational is a group led by handrummer/percussionist Adam Rudolph who has played and recorded with Pharoah Sanders, Yusef Lateef, Don Cherry, Jon Hassell, Wadada Leo Smith, Bill Laswell, and many others. The project’s sound is described as Boonghee, an organic and percussive new dance music that mixes together African rhythms, free jazz, hip-hop, kosmische, amongst other things. “Earth heartbeating, modern day mysticism & star gazing ritualism,” the music here will take you on a deeply spiritual trip through world-inspired textures and psychedelic jazz that is simultaneously reaching backwards and forwards in time.
