Nino And Radiah is the 1974 cult classic album from Italian-born French singer-songwriter Nino Ferrer and American model, singer, actress Radiah Frye. The duo are a perfect musical match and a force to be reckoned with, especially with the backing of the legendary Lafayette Afro Rock Band. Of course, the album cover photographed by Richard Bennett is what draws a lot of people to this record – a stunning shot of Nino in a suit and Radiah in her birthday suit… B3 “Looking For You” is the clear standout here opening with the sound of cars zooming by and transitioning into a hypnotic love song with melancholic lyrics sung by Nino and Radiah together. Nino had an interesting musical journey, never sticking to one thing and avoiding the mainstream. The tortured artist act would eventually lead to disaster as he took his own life in 1998 by shooting himself in the heart out in a corn field near his castle in France. – Ally
