Nuno Canavarro – Plux Quba

A future classic released on ISC favorite Growing Bin Records, 69 is the debut LP from friends and mutual seafood lovers Andrew Wilson (Andras) and John Tanner (Eleventeen Eston). The album’s eight loose and lazy ambient tracks come baked with warmth in both the playing and recording; there are bits of room noise captured in each piano, guitar, and clarinet take. The non-musical elements of the record match the vibe with liner notes featuring a recipe for blue swimmer crab linguini and watercolor album artwork by label founder Basso. Highly recommended for fans of Gaussian Curve, Melody As Truth, Efficient Space, etc.
