AKSK – Things We Do

AKSK, the collaborative project of Adda Kaleh and Diego Herrera aka Suzanne Kraft, first appeared in 2015 on Rush Hour’s excellent Musik for Autobahns (Ambient Race Car Music) series. Their much anticipated debut LP “Things We Do” appears five years later on Gerd Janson’s Running Back Records and feels like an instant yet somehow already underrated classic. Herrera’s modern 80’s style production perfectly complements Kaleh’s cold but emotional vocal delivery that reminds us of all the cult elegant synth pop acts we love. Animals Dancing crew Tornado Wallace and William Paxton show up for dub remix duties with their Coober Pedy University Band.
