An all-time classic album from Jean-Marc Cerrone, Cerrone 3 (Supernature) was a departure from the happy, sexy, party sound that the artist explored on the European Disco pioneer’s first two albums, Love in C Minor and Cerrone’s Paradise. Inspired by Giorgio Moroder’s groundbreaking electronic disco work with Donna Summer, “3” kicks off with “Supernature,” a moody, sci-fi disco track that pushes forward with that iconic bubbling synthesizer sound that we all know and love. B1 “Give Me Love” is just pure ecstasy and a timeless disco track that really shines through Cerrone’s masterful drumming. Even better, the album is sequenced perfectly with synth and drum interludes that make for a wonderfully immersive full listen.
