Cloud One – Atmosphere Strut
In the mid-1970s the disco movement was in full swing. Amidst this musical revolution, Cloud One, a studio project helmed by legendary producer Patrick Adams, released their first album Atmosphere Strut. Working with iconic disco labels like Salsoul and Prelude, Adams arranged, produced and composed a large number of projects earning him 32 gold and platinum records. Atmospheric Strut showcases a fusion of disco, funk, and electronic elements, capturing the essence of the era while pushing the boundaries of what was considered traditional disco music. Adams’ meticulous attention to detail shines through in every aspect of the album, from the arrangements to the pristine sound quality. A3 “Dust to Dust” combines soaring synths and otherworldly vocals, resulting in a mesmerizing blend of disco and space-age funk. The song’s energy and uplifting atmosphere make it an instant dancefloor filler, demonstrating Cloud One’s ability to create music that bridges the gap between euphoria and introspection. – Ally
