Maybe the group’s best album, Spokój Serca is a psychedelic offering from Polish three-piece Czerwone Gitary, which translates to Red Guitars. Often referred to as the Polish Beatles (Klenczo/Krajewski were even compared to Lennon/McCartney), the group’s sound lands somewhere between Abbey Road, The Beach Boys, and The Electric Prunes featuring fuzzed-out guitars, vocal harmonies, pop hooks, and blues-rock solos. A2 “Nie Jesteś Ciszą” is the best of the bunch with a wonderfully atmospheric delayed vocal effect that makes for some sweeping psychedelia alongside waves of wah-wah guitar.
