Melancholic keyboard works by Belgian composer Dominique Lawalrée on his Editions Walrus “non-commercial music” label. The compositions feature a range of keyboard sounds using Bösendorfer piano, Hohner and Wurlitzer electric piano, Yamaha Cs80, and Roland String synthesizer. A few field recordings, spoken word, found sounds, light percussion, and Lawalrée’s own voice pop into the scene at choice moments to further envelope you in his mystical sound world. Recommended for fans of Satie, Brian Eno, Morton Feldman, Ryuichi Sakamoto, etc.
