DIY electro-acoustic experiments from Seattle based composer Kerry Leimer. Produced with a Minimoog, an Oberheim module, piano and home-made electric guitar on two TEAC 3340 4-track machines, the honest, loop-based compositions capture the warmth intimacy of late ’70s home recording. As with many of Leimer’s works, there’s a strong cinematic quality here with the sounds evoking images of the Northwest: the sea, fog, rain, forests and mountains. Recommended for fans of environmental music, Hiroshi Yoshimura, Roedelius, Cluster, Eno, etc.
