Ms. Sharon Ridley – Full Moon
Full Moon is a nine track soul album featuring the “ultimate morning song” A3 “Changin'” that was played at legendary NYC parties like the Loft and Paradise Garage. Sharon Ridley wrote all the songs besides the hit A3 “Changin” and tracks A1 & B2, which are covers of songs originally written by Smokey Robinson and other members of The Miracles. A multi-talented singer / keyboardist, Ridley also contributes rhythm arrangements alongside producer Jerry Peters, who worked with some of the best musicians from the late 60s onwards including Bobby Hutcherson, Gene Harris, Deniece Williams, Forest Sylvers, and many more. While Full Moon would not catapult Ms. Sharon Ridley to mainstream stardom, the album would eventually become a cult classic and played by DJ’s around the world. This album would sadly be her final release. – Ally
