Roland Boucqet – Paradia
A highly eclectic and pleasant mix of samba, flamenco, European folk, chanson and dreamy space pop that plays like the soundtrack to an obscure 70’s movie. Paradia is the solo debut of Roland Bocquet, the keyboard player for the French rock band Catharsis. The overall vibe of the record is deep, trippy, atmospheric, and perhaps best encapsulated in the incredible album artwork that depicts a perfect little musical dreamworld that we’d love to just dive into. Highly recommended for fans of library music, soundtracks, and cosmic explorations.
