Thirsty Moon ‎– Blitz

Thirsty Moon… we first heard “Südwind” on Chee Shimizu’s excellent “Follow My Dream” mix on the Lovefingers blog. Released on seminal kraut label Brain, Blitz features some seriously infectious guitar licks in a jazzy-prog sort of package that includes a healthy amount of analog synthesizers. If guitar solos are not your thing then feel free to skip this one, but, if you’re all about it, dive right in because this is a nice slice of underrated “prog rock that’s actually good.”
