New Beginnings for LALA Magazine
LALA Magazine recently asked us to create a playlist to accompany the “Turning the Tables” article featured in their Fall edition.
In the article, Erin Bunch speaks to Bryan Ling about facing coronavirus restrictions and transitioning In Sheep’s Clothing to an online music discovery platform. Here’s a short excerpt:
“The need for this return to musical immersion predated our current predicament – hence the initial creation of ISC – but it feels harder to make space from the incessant onslaught of news now more than ever. In Ling’s opinion, this return to mindful listening can be a healing and even fortifying salve, not just for scattered, stressed and anxious humans but for the music business as well.”
The playlist we created, titled New Beginnings, is dedicated to change. It is composed of songs from pivotal transition points in the artists’ careers i.e. leaving the group, going solo, first time bandleader, new collaborations, etc. We hope you enjoy it!
