A reggae holiday classic from Inner Circle’s Jacob Miller and deejay Ray I, Natty Christmas is the perfect soundtrack to ringing in an “irie Christmas and dancehall new year.” Recorded at the legendary Channel One studio in Kingston, Jamaica, the album features Inner Circle members along with the rhythm twins Sly Dunbar and Robbie Shakespeare (RIP), and guitarist Mikey Chung. The lyrics are totally fun, usually about herb, and improvised on the spot with the late-great Jacob Miller “his usual self, making or should I say changing the lyrics as we go along.”
