Released in 1981 on the short-lived Nigerian record label Time, this album captures the essence of Nigeria’s burgeoning Afro-disco and boogie sound, showcasing Oby Onyioha’s exceptional talent as a singer-songwriter. Dreamy orchestrations and vibrant arrangements all work together harmoniously to create a full-bodied sound that is both timeless and unmistakably ’80s. A3 “Enjoy Your Life” is the clear standout here and has been featured on many compilations and sets from around the world. The production quality of the album is top-notch, thanks to renowned producer Lemmy Jackson, who expertly captures the sparkling spirit of Onyioha’s music.
